“Stage 3 load shedding will continue to be implemented until further notice” - ESKOM

Image by Internet  STHEMBILE NDLOVU Disgruntled South African citizens responds to the ever changing load shedding schedules as Eskom is now implementing stage 3 of load shedding on Thursday 20 October 2022. Eskom said on the statement they had issued that they had announced previously that stage 3 will be coming to an end but however stage 3 will continue to be implemented until further notice. “Previously we had communicated that stage 3 will be suspended at 05:00 on Friday. However stage 3 load shedding will continue to be implemented until further notice. The delay in return to service of a generating unit each at Duvha, Grootvlei, Kendal and two units at Tutuka power stations, as well as breakdown of a unit each at Kusile and Komati power stations have necessitated the escalation of load shedding,” Said the Eskom media team. The 32-year-old female born and bred in the semi-rural township of Hammarsdale outer west of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal has surprised many people by opening an organisation that has changed and assisted lives of  many. Nonjabulo Shangase the manager of the first year students netball team, said leagues have existed in DUT before but they ended up being attended by resident students. That is why the sports officer decided to start this league to accommodate all students. "The league is called campus league, in the institution we have different leagues but most of these leagues end up being attended by students who reside in DUT residences. That when sport officer decide to start the league where every DUT student from different facilities and staff member to join and play together," she mentioned. Ntokozo Msimango the house committee chairperson at four Seasons and the organizer of this program said they engaged on the issues that the LGBTQ+ students are facing in the institution of higher learning. “The students under the LGBTQ+ community as they were in celebration of pride month. We engaged around common issues the community face and we all came in conclusion that the most common factor is exclusion.
