The KwaZulu-Natal South Coast won the bid to host the conservation symposium in 2020

LOCAL WOMAN CHANGES MANY LIVES WITH AN ORGANISATION

Image by Facebook  STHEMBILE NDLOVU Bongiwe Hlophe who works under the Department of Home Affairs in Gauteng has created an organisation that aims to uplift lives of many Hammarsdale residents. The 32-year-old female born and bred in the semi-rural township of Hammarsdale outer west of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal has surprised many people by opening an organisation that has changed and assisted lives of  many. Umusa  NoThando Foundation was founded in 2012 and officially registered in 2020. Bongiwe Hlophe said  her main  aim and purpose is to encourage a society that is loving and caring “ The  aim and purpose  is  encourage and promote a loving, caring, self-suffi cient and  well-developed  society by teaching and heartening Ubuntu in our communities , ” said Hlophe.     STHEMBILE NDLOVU   Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme foundation celebrated the birth of former African National Congress activist the late Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme for the first time yesterday on the 1st of October 2022 at kwaMashu Hall L section.   One of the important guest speakers Sifiso Seme grandchild to Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme articulated on the importance of celebrating the life of Dr Pixley ka Isaka Seme.   “Seme was the second black person to be a lawyer in South Africa and he was the one who came up with an idea of creating this organisation for black people.
